Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose. Refer to Crankcase Ventilation Hoses/Pipes Replacement (LLY, LBZ) or Crankcase Ventilation Hoses/Pipes Replacement (LMM) .
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
1 Air Intake Pipe Clamp
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:Β  4.6 N.m (41 lb in)

2 Air Intake Pipe
Procedure:Β 
Align the air intake pipe to the turbocharger with the alignment notches during installation.
