Installation Procedure
2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer 4.2 S, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the seat back frame on the seat.
- Install the recliner arm attachment bolts (2).
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 53 N.m (39 lb ft).
- Install the inboard pivot bolt (1).
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
- Install the seat belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Left Front or Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
- Install the lumbar assembly (or power lumbar/bolster assembly if equipped). Refer to Lumbar Replacement - Front SeatΒ .
- Install the seat back trim cover and pad. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - FrontΒ .
- Connect the lumbar cable (6) underneath the seat cushion (disconnect the wire harness if equipped with power lumbar).
- Install the seat trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Front SeatΒ .
- Install the head restraint and guides. Refer to Head Restraint ReplacementΒ .
- Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front BucketΒ .
