Installation Procedure
- Install the seat belt retractor to the third pillar.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Use the J 29843-9
in order to install the bolt securing the seat belt retractor to the third pillar.
Tighten
Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt third pillar to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
- Install the left body side front trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT BODY SIDE FRONT .
- Install the cup holder/armrest trim cover (3) in place on the passengers side.
- Use the J 29843-9
in order to install the bolt (5) securing the lower seat retractor side belt anchor (4) to the third pillar.
Tighten
Tighten the lower seat belt anchor bolt third pillar to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
- Install the seat belt anchor to the mini-buckle on the vehicles with the 60/40 split bench.
- Use the J 29843-9
in order to install the bolt (2) securing the upper seat belt anchor (1)
Tighten
Tighten the upper seat belt anchor bolt third pillar to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
- Install the cover onto the upper seat belt anchor (1).
