Ignition Switch: Installation
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation
- Install ignition switch to steering column.
- Install retaining screws (2) to ignition switch (3). See Fig 1 . Tighten screws to 36 INCH lbs. (4 N.m).
- Install ignition lock cylinder.
- Install steering column trim covers.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Enable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. For 2002, see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
