- Perform powertrain diagnostic system check. See POWERTRAIN DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK (GASOLINE) under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. After performing powertrain diagnostic system check, go to next step.
- If DTC P1626 set as a current DTC, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If DTC P1626 is not set as a current DTC, see DIAGNOSTIC AIDS .
NOTE:
DTC P1626 can only be set along with a corresponding theft deterrent B-code. Diagnose appropriate theft deterrent B-code. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS
