Turn Signal/MULTIFUNCTION Switch (Cavalier & SUNFIRE): Removal
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal
- Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. For 2002, see AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove steering wheel.
- Remove steering column trim covers. Remove tilt lever. Remove 4 screws from lower trim cover. Remove upper trim cover.
- Remove 2 retaining screws from multifunction switch (2). See Figure .
- Remove multifunction switch (2) from steering column.
- Disconnect electrical connectors from multifunction switch (2).
