Heated Seats System Check

1997 Chevrolet Chevy Express G3500, Van Cargo, 6.5 FSECTION Heated Seats System Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Depress driver's heated seat switch in door panel. Driver's heated seat switch HI LED should come on. Seat will reach high temperature in about one minute. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT WILL NOT HEATΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  2. Depress driver's heated seat switch in door panel a second time. Driver's heated seat switch LO LED should come on. Seat will reach low temperature in about one minute. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT WILL NOT HEATΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  3. Depress driver's heated seat switch in door panel a third time. Driver's heated seat switch LED should turn off. Seat will turn off, cool down and remain cool. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT HEAT DOES NOT TURN OFFΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  4. Depress passenger's heated seat switch in door panel. Passenger's heated seat switch HI LED should come on. Seat will reach high temperature in about one minute. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT WILL NOT HEATΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  5. Depress passenger's heated seat switch in door panel a second time. Passenger's heated seat switch LO LED should come on. Seat will reach low temperature in about one minute. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT WILL NOT HEATΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  6. Depress passenger's heated seat switch in door panel a third time. Passenger's heated seat switch LED should turn off. Seat will turn off, cool down and remain cool. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT HEAT DOES NOT TURN OFFΒ  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
