Driver Inflator Module: Removal

1995 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 4D Sedan, 2.2 4SECTION Removal

  1. Disable SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAGΒ  SYSTEM. Remove screw caps on steering wheel by prying with flathead screwdriver. Remove inflator module screws. Lift inflator out of module. See Fig 1.

  2. Remove integral connector lock device with small flathead screwdriver. Disconnect connector and remove inflator module. See Fig 2.
