Driver Inflator Module: Removal

- Disable SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Remove screw caps on steering wheel by prying with flathead screwdriver. Remove inflator module screws. Lift inflator out of module. See Fig 1.
- Remove integral connector lock device with small flathead screwdriver. Disconnect connector and remove inflator module. See Fig 2.
