All models equipped with a Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system have a number "2" (driver and passenger-side air bags) in the seventh position of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Vehicles can also be identified by the words AIR BAG embossed on the steering wheel pad.
