Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) .
  2. Remove the rear side door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator ReplacementΒ .
1 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Bolts (Qty: 3)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Using the power window switch, lower the window regulator about 1/2 way down.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window motor.

TightenΒ 
Tighten the bolt (1,2,3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
2 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor

Procedure

  1. The bolts are located on the back side of the window regulator.
  2. Remove the tape from the window.
  3. Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.
