Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) .
1 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolts (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Remove the water deflector.
  2. Tape the window in the full up position.
  3. Connect the door trim panel wire harness connector.
  4. Loosen the window regulator to window clamp nuts 4 revolutions. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  5. Using the power window switch, lower the window regulator about 1/2 way down.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power window motor.

Tighten 
Tighten the bolt (1,2,3) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
2 Rear Side Door Window Regulator

Procedure

  1. Remove the tape from the window.
  2. Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.
