Installation Procedure
Connect the electrical connectors.
- Reposition the instrument carrier to install the communication interface module bracket.
- Communication Interface Module Bracket (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Communication Center Call Transceiver Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Communication Interface Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten[2x]2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten[2x]2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Instrument Carrier Bolt (1) - Install and tighten2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
Install the right side instrument panel center lower bracket (2). Instrument Panel Center Lower Bracket Replacement
Serial Data Gateway Bracket (2) - Install - Serial Data Gateway Bracket Replacement
Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Plate Applique (1) - Install - Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Plate Applique Replacement
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet (2) - Install - Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Replacement (Without KEM) , or Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Duct Replacement (With KEM)
Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct-Front (2) - Install - Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (Front) , or Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (Rear) , or Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (CJ4 Rear)
Front Floor Console (3) - Install - Front Floor Console Replacement
