Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
  2. Remove the transmission control lever boot. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Boot Replacement .
  3. Remove the front floor console transmission shift opening bezel. Refer to Front Floor Console Transmission Shift Opening Bezel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front floor console cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Cover Replacement .
  5. Position the front floor console armrest in it full open position.

Procedures

  1. Lift upward releasing the front floor upper console trim plate from the console assembly.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  3. When replacing the front floor upper console trim plate, transfer all necessary components.
