Remove both front floor console extension panels. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement .
Remove instrument panel ashtray housing. Refer to Instrument Panel Ashtray Housing Replacement .

TIP: Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to release the front floor console cover from the front floor upper console trim plate.
