Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Positive torque transfer in D or R
Torque converter turbine speed >0 rpm
Engine speed >400 rpm
Terminal condition: Ignition ON
Voltage condition:
7 ... 16V
Condition for fault memory entry
Symptom counter
Action in service
If fault is passive: Check fluid level according to
specifications and add fluid as indicated. Clear fault memory
and conduct road test under monitored conditions (upshift
and downshift through all gears). If fault code is not
registered, transmission OK
If fault code is entered repeatedly Replace transmission.
