72 11 030 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right seat belt
Necessary preliminary tasks:Β
- Remove roller cover from luggage compartment.Β .
Release screw (1).
Installation:Β
Microencapsulated screws must be replaced.
Tightening torque 72 11 02AZ.Β See AIRBAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Remove anchor fitting (2).
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 72 11 01AZ.Β See AIRBAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Remove automatic reel (2).
Release screw (1).
Unclip strip (2) for lower belt guide.
M Series sport seats only:Β
Unclip belt guide (1).
Feed out belt strap (2).
Installation:Β
The automatic reel is secured by the locating pin (1) in the opening (2) of the body.
