Rear Entertainment: Operation
The following menus are currently activated for operation via the rear display:
- "Entertainment" menu:
Full range of functions as for the Control Display in the front. In addition, it is possible to watch television or DVDs while the vehicle is being driven.
- "Settings" menu:
The clock and the display brightness can be set. The button behind the rear controller can be assigned.
- "Climate" menu:
The independent ventilation and independent heating can be controlled.
- "BMW Assist" menu:
Functions such as "BMW Service" or "Traffic info" can be selected.
- "Communication" menu
Separate telephone with separate SIM card can be used regardless of front-seat occupants. When the rear SIM card is connected, the SMS text message and telephones lists can be seen.
- "On-board data" menu:
The on-board computer functions can be displayed. The limit and the stopwatch can be set.
- "Help" menu:
The menu name can be shown when selecting menus.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- β’ The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
