The following functions are possible with the Telematic Control Unit (TCU):
- Hands-free mode with
- Full duplex transmission (simultaneous speaking and listening)
- Echo compensation (suppression of background noises)
- Operating status display
- Transmission of audio data or phone book and telephone status
- Monitoring of charge and automatic charging of battery in the handset. Controlling the power supply for the Bluetooth handset.
