Replacing Sensor For Main Pillar

Removing And Installing/Replacing Sensor For Main Pillar
Remove left convertible top compartment lid lock.
WARNING:
Danger of locking in position!
Secure tensioning bar and convertible top compartment lid against lowering.
Open tensioning bar (1) and convertible top compartment lid (2) as illustrated.
NOTE: Do not bend deflection lever (2).
Release screw (1).
Detach deflection lever (2) and sensor for main pillar (3).
Installation:
Replace screw (2).
Ensure deflection lever (1) to sensor for main pillar (3) is correctly positioned.
Ensure screw (2) at top end of elongated hole of sensor for main pillar (3) is correctly positioned.
Loosen screws (1).
Feed sensor for main pillar (3) with plate underneath in direction of arrow out of convertible top frame (4).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
