Stop-Light Switch
The signal of the stop-light switch is an analog signal to the SMG control module. For the purposes of redundancy, the signal of the stop-light switch is transferred from the engine control module via the vehicle CAN bus.
The signal of the stop-light switch is used for:
- unlocking the shift lock
- brake detection
- disengaging a gear with the engine at a standstill.
