Fuel System Pressure Relief
Before disconnecting any fuel line or fuel system component relieve fuel system pressure.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove fuel pump relay(s).
3. Connect battery ground cable and crank engine for ten seconds.
4. When fuel system repairs are complete, install fuel pump relays and crank engine to restore fuel pump pressure.
