Note:
Remove driver's seat,
Manual standard seat/sports seat,
Electric standard seat/sports seat,
Remove footwell side trim panel on A-pillar on left,
After replacing the rotation-rate sensor, carry out an adjustment of the rotation-rate sensor and the transversal acceleration sensor with DIS (Diagnosis and Information System) under menu item "Service functions". The rotation-rate sensor contains the function of the transversal acceleration sensor.





Raise floor trim panel (1).
Move insulating wedge (2) approx. 8-10 cm forwards.
Remove cover (3).





Release screws (1).
Installation:
Ensure correct seating during installation.
Unlock plug connection (2) and detach.
Installation: Ensure proper locking of plug connector.
