INITIALIZATION OF THE TRANSMITTERS TO THE RECEIVER
1. Close all doors.
2. Turn ignition switch to the Accessory position (KL R), and then turn it off again within 5 seconds.
3. Within 30 seconds of turning the ignition switch to "off". Press and hold down the unlock button (button with the up arrow marking).
4. While holding down the unlock button, depress and release the lock button (button with the BMW logo) three times (within 10 seconds of depressing the unlock button).
5. Release the unlock button. The LED in the key will flash momentarily. The GM will immediately lock and unlock the doors signaling a successful initialization.
6. Without turning the ignition on again, repeat steps 3 through 5 for additional transmitters (up to four transmitters can be initialized to one receiver).
7. Switching the ignition to KL R completes the initialization.
