Test requirements

2001 Audi A6 Avant QuattroSECTION Test requirements
  • Vehicle in unladen state (at curb-weight)
  • Proper tire pressures (refer to inflation pressure label on vehicle).
  • Correct tread depth (set 1 mm less for each 1 mm of wear)
  • Wait until control procedure has been completed (observe compressor run)
  • Measure height of vehicle at relevant points (production intake points) relative to ground

Note test requirements when measuring axle in vehicles with level control (1BG)Β  .

Basic setting must be performed if the level control sensor, the entire unit or the control module is replaced.
