Air unit mount, assembly overiew: Removing
2001 Audi A6 Avant QuattroSECTION Removing
CAUTION:
On vehicles equipped with Audi Telematics by OnStar®, switch-off the emergency (back-up) battery for the Telematic/Telephone Control Module prior to disconnecting the vehicle battery. Switch-on the emergency (back-up) battery after reconnecting the vehicle battery. See EMERGENCY (BACK-UP) BATTERY, SWITCH ON/OFF, RESET TIME REGISTER

- Removing
- Switch off ignition.
- Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap.
Prior to removal of air supply unit with mount, tool kit, navigation system or CD changer must be taken out.
See RADIO SYSTEMS .
- Unplug black connector -A-. See Figure.
- Unplug red connector -B-.
- Unscrew air connections -C-.
- When pulling out compressed air lines, take care not to alter position of cutting rings at front of line, as otherwise leaks may occur on re-installation.
- Unscrew hex nuts, Item -8-. See Figure
