SERVICE INFORMATION
The repair information that follows is new and will be integrated with the next Repair Manual update.
REAR LID
BUFFER STOP, ADJUSTING
- Loosen screws -2- (2x) securing buffer stop -1- (2x).
- Tighten screw -2- hand tight (so buffer stop -1- can still be moved). Close trunk lid -3- carefully until it is flush with rear side panel. Open trunk lid -3- carefully and pull out buffer stop -1- two graduations (1 mm preload) and tighten screw -2-. See Fig 1 .
- Tightening torque: 6 N.m +/- 0.5 N.m (53 in-lb +/- 4 in-lb)
