SERVICE INFORMATION
In order to obtain more accurate repair information on OBD II vehicles, the General Diagnostic Work sheets (GDWS) shown in Fig 1 and Fig 2 , have been developed.
SERVICE
Until further notice, for all OBD II vehicles within the warranty period with customer complaints of:
- Unacceptable driveability.
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp ON.
Please make copies of the GDWS for use on all OBD II Diagnosis/Repairs.
- Fill out the GDWS and FAX to the location(s) specified on the last page of the work sheet.
- Attach a copy of the GDWS to the Repair Order documentation.
To compensate you for the time to fill out and FAX this VITAL information, please add the following Labor Operation to your warranty claim:

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- β’ You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- β’ Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- β’ The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- β’ You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- β’ You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
