CONDITION
Cruise control, intermittently will not maintain set speed.
SERVICE
If a vehicle exhibits the above condition:
- Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum servo unit and connect vacuum pump US 8026 or equivalent.
- Apply a small amount (approx. 1 to 2 centimeters) of vacuum.
If the vacuum servo unit does not maintain this amount of vacuum:
- Install a new vacuum servo unit (Part Numbers are listed in the table below.
