- Connect Diagnosis and Information System VAS 5051 or VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST) and select "Transmission Electronics" with address word 02. See ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)Β . Ignition must be switched on.
Indicated on display:
- Press buttons -0- and -2-to insert "Check DTC memory"
Indicated on display:
- Press Q button to confirm input.
The display shows the number of stored DTCs or "No DTC found".
The stored DTCs will be displayed and printed in one after the other.
- Press --> button.
- After the last DTC was displayed and printed out, correct malfunctions according to instructions in DTC tables. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) TABLESΒ .
- Press --> button.
