Thermostat Replacement
2008 Acura TSX StandardSECTION Thermostat Replacement
- Drain the engine coolant, '04-05 models (see '04-05 MODELSΒ ), '06-08 models (see '06-08 MODELSΒ ).
- Remove the splash shield (see TRANSMISSION REMOVAL ).
- Remove the lower radiator hose, then remove the thermostat.
- Install the new thermostat with a new O-ring, then install the lower radiator hose.
- Install the splash shield (see TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION ).
- Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open, '04-05 models (see step Β 6 ), '06-08 models (see step Β 6 ).
