- Engine support hanger, A & Reds AAR-T-12566
- Engine hanger/adapter VSB02C000015
- Front subframe adapter VSB02C000016
*These special tools are available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program 1-888-424-6857.
NOTE:
Use fender covers to avoid damaging painted surfaces.
- Secure the hood in its vertical position (support rod in the lower hole).
- Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped), then write down the audio presets.
- Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then disconnect the positive cable.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly (see AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the battery base (see step 8 on ENGINE REMOVAL ).
- Carefully remove the slave cylinder to avoid bending the clutch line.NOTE: Do not operate the clutch pedal after the slave cylinder has been removed.
