Power Tailgate Latch/Ratchet Switch Test
2008 Acura MDXSECTION Power Tailgate Latch/Ratchet Switch Test
- Remove the tailgate trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE AREA ).
- Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the tailgate closer unit (B).
- Check for continuity between the terminals in each latch position according to the table.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the tailgate latch assembly (see WITHOUT POWER TAILGATE ).
