Rear Cover: Reassembly
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Reassembly
- To reassemble reverse idler gear, coat components with ATF. Install thrust washers, needle bearings, reverse idler gear and reverse idler gear shaft. Ensure reverse idler gear is installed with offset area in correct direction. See Fig 1.
- Install reverse idler gear shaft holder. Install and tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
- To reassemble reverse and 2nd clutch feed pipes, reverse disassembly procedure using NEW "O" rings. Coat components with ATF before reassembly.
