Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Recognition
ABS control unit recognizes system related problems, stores DTC(s) and causes ABS indicator light to come on. ABS indicator light may come on when system is operating normally under any of following conditions:
- Only drive wheels are rotating.
- One drive wheel stuck.
- Vehicle spinout.
- ABS operating condition continues for long time.
- Signal disturbance.
If ABS indicator light stays on or comes on intermittently, use Honda PGM Tester or SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to retrieve code(s). See RETRIEVING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTICSΒ .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
