Removal And Installation
REMOVAL
Set the vehicle to Inactive mode, described in user mode, refer to: USAGE MODE
Remove the marked part.
Disconnect the connectors.
TRANSFERRING COMPONENTS
Loosen the clips.
Remove the marked part.
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Order and download the appropriate Volvo software. (VIDA/Software/Hardware Changes)
The following items must always be performed regardless of whether new components are installed or not.
ALTERNATIVE 1
Perform electric motor/Sun Roof Module (SRM), calibration, refer to: ELECTRIC MOTOR / SUN ROOF MODULE
ALTERNATIVE 2
Initiate according to: Diagnostics / Components / Control modules/ Central Electronic Module (CEM) / Diagnostic sequences / Initiating and operating roof hatch or panorama roof

When to See a Mechanic
