The multimedia module (MMM) (16/108) receives GPS signals from the GPS antenna (16/47) to the integrated GPS unit for position determination.

The brake control module (BCM) (4/16) and central electronic module (CEM) (4/56) send signals with information on direction and speed via the infotainment control module (ICM) (3/281) so that the current position can be calculated.

When a Volvo On Call service is initiated, the multimedia module (MMM) sends information on vehicle position to the phone module (PHM) via the MOST network. For more information, see appropriate Design and Function information for the Phone module (PHM).
