Control Module
The Audio Control Module (AUD) Audio Control Module is an amplifier intended to transport the audio signal transmitted on the MOST network out to the directly connected speakers.
The following variants of the Audio Control Module (AUD) are available:
- High Performance
It consists of:
8 loudspeakers
4 x 43 W amplifier output
Headphone panel (option, does not apply to S60 or models with MY 2014-).
- Premium Sound
It consists of:
11 loudspeakers
5 x 130 W amplifier output
Subwoofer with two loudspeakers (only applies to V70, XC70 and XC60)
Headphone panel (option, does not apply to S60 or models with MY 2014-).
Both versions are available with Active Noise Control (ANC) when the Audio Control Module (AUD) has connected microphones located inside the passenger compartment. See MICROPHONES .

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
