Activating And Deactivating VOLVO On Call
Instructions and activation code for activating and deactivating Volvo On Call is available on the Volvo On Call website. If necessary, (for example misuse of Volvo On Call) the network operator can cancel the subscription for the internal SIM card for Volvo On Call. After the Volvo On Call function has been activated the same applies to replacing the control module regarding searching for GPS satellites and connection of voice calls to the Volvo On Call Service Centre.
If the Volvo On Call function is deactivated, the user will be informed by text message. The text message will be displayed in the Driver Information Module (DIM) at the start of every driving cycle (ignition switch position ON).
