  • Ignition on.

    Activate the valve in the leak diagnostic unit.

    Check if the fault is permanent or intermittent.

    The valve clicks when it is activated.

    The fault is permanent if the valve does not activate.

    If the valve is activated, this is an indication that the fault was present previously but that it is not active at the moment, intermittent fault.
