DESCRIPTION:
The current levels for triggering Engine control module (ECM)-P240700 has been set to a level much lower than what would affect the leakage detection pumps functionality.
PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
The current levels to when ECM-P240700 should be set have been tuned to prevent incorrect diagnostics of the leakage detection pump.
SERVICE:
Perform an ECM upgrade if vehicle has the latest software installed proceed with checking the harness and the connectors to the pump. If these check ok proceed with replacing the pump.

Operation number 36004-2 - Software control module downloading - See VSTG
- Claims may be submitted under the new car warranty when there is a documented customer complaint using claim type: 01
- Labor times are valid at the time of release and are subject to change.
