2007 Volvo XC90 AWD L6-3.2L VIN 98 B6324SSECTION Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P053100

Condition
The engine control module (ECM) calculates when a certain pressure change should have been reached in the air conditioning (A/C) system.
The control module also measures the actual pressure changes at the air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The calculated A/C pressure value differs from the actual pressure value.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine running.
- Air conditioning (A/C) control, active.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
