Condition
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the EVAP valve signal cable is short-circuited to ground or that the circuit is open.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

- Fuel trim blocked.
Possible source
- Contact resistance in the connectors.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
- Open-circuit on the signal cable.
- Damaged EVAP valve.
