Condition
Motor 4 controls the height of the front edge of the seat. Motor 4 must be activated before the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be detected. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSM-0036 is stored if motor 4 does not run despite M4+ being activated and the power seat module registering +12 V on the M4+ signal cable.
Possible source
- Open-circuit in signal cable M4+.
- Blown fuse (11C/4).
Fault symptom[s]
- The height of the front edge of the seat cannot be adjusted.
