  • Start the engine and run it to normal operating temperature
  • Read off and note the adaptation value for the camshaft at idle speed. The value must be between -8Β° and +8Β°.

    If the adaptation value is correct (between -8Β° and +8Β°) the fault is intermittent. If the adaptation value is incorrect (lower than -8Β° or higher than +8Β°), the fault is permanent.
