Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The driving section of the transmission is disengaged when certain conditions are met:
- Stationary
- Engine idling
- Stop pedal depressed
- Gear position D, 3 or 4.
The function decreases fuel consumption and vibration from the transmission when running the engine at idle speed.
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) TCM-012B is stored if the transmission control module (TCM) registers that clutch C1 does not engage.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Shift solenoid SLS has jammed in the OFF position
- Internal fault in the transmission
- Internal fault in the control module.

- General orange warning lamp lit
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
