Condition
If microprocessor/control unit registers that serial interface between SWM and SWS (steering wheel switches) short circuits and signal is low for more than 300ms, diagnostic trouble code SWM-0008 is displayed.
Substitute value
Cruise-control function does not work when engine is running.

- Serial interface between SWM and SWS (steering wheel switches) short circuited.

- Cruise control not working at all
- Radio steering wheel buttons do not work
- RTI steering wheel buttons do not work
