The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the road traffic information module (RTI) registers that there is no signal from the GPS antenna or that the GPS antenna consumes more or less current than 20-25 mA.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals
- Open-circuit or short-circuit to ground on the cable between the GPS antenna and the GPS receiver, which is integrated with the road traffic information module (RTI).
- Defective GPS antenna
- GPS antenna not connected.

- The car's position on the map is incorrect.
