Trouble Code Conditions
- Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-535 Ignition discharge module (IDM) group E is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the A/C relay or pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR) pump relay circuits.
Substitute value(s)
- The ignition discharge module is shut off until the fault has disappeared.
Possible source(s)
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in A/C relay signal cable.
- Defective A/C relay.
Fault symptom(s)
- A/C does not work, depending on fault source
