Power Circuit Check

1994 Volvo 940 Base, 4D Sedan, AW71SECTION Power Circuit Check

Ensure ignition is off. Connect a voltmeter between measuring unit terminals No. 18 and 19, and then between terminals No. 36 and 19. Battery voltage should be present in both cases. If voltage is not as specified, check fuse, wiring and relay. Turn ignition on. Voltage should decrease from 12 volts to about .1 volt at terminal No. 36.
