Fuel Injectors

- Turn ignition off and remove fuse No. 24. Connect Measuring Unit (999 3070 ) between ECU and ECU connector. See Figure . Turn ignition on.
- Connect voltmeter between measuring unit terminals No. 17 and 24, and then between terminals No. 16 and 24. In both cases, battery voltage should be present.
- Turn ignition off. Connect an ohmmeter between measuring unit terminals No. 37 and 17. Resistance should be about 5.3 ohms. Connect ohmmeter between measuring unit terminals No. 37 and 16. Resistance should be about 5.3 ohms.
- Disconnect injector connectors. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance of each injector. Resistance should be 16 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Replace as necessary.
